We are working with an independent small animal veterinary practice in Louth, Lincolnshire who are currently recruiting for a new veterinary surgeon to join their team of 5 vets on permanent basis. This role is full time and would require being involved on the out of hours/weekend rota as below. The practice is more than happy to consider applicants of all relevant experience levels including those looking for their first role since graduating (Either UK Grad or not) providing you are RCVS registered.

Key Details:

Full time position working 4 and a half days a week

Hours Mon-Fri: 9:00am until 6:30pm each day

Weekends: 1 in 5 weekends on a rota, consulting Saturday mornings and on call for rest of the weekend

OOH: 1 Night a week on call as well as the weekend rota

Sole charge: No sole charge worked required

Branch work: None involved with this role

About them:

A long-established independent practice with core values that are always stuck to. The practice provides veterinary care in some form 24 hours a day and ensure they always have a member of staff available for clients at all times. The practice is well equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital Xray, ultrasonography, endoscopy, dentistry and some exotic facilities. As well as having a veterinary surgeon on call each night they also have a qualified nurse in practice.

With this role the practice is willing to support a new graduate and if required could assist with basic accommodation for the first few months whilst you relocate to the area.

Person:

The practice are looking for a veterinary surgeon with a proactive, hardworking and positive working attitude who has a keen willingness to learn and develop. Due to the experience within the team the practice can consider applications form new graduates to those with multiple years experience since qualifying.

Package:

Salary from 21,000 to 38,000 with a monthly housing allowance paid of 450. Salary is dependent of experience.
