We are recruiting for a new or recently graduated Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice on a 1 years internship with a view to the role becoming permanent at a practice in Gloucester. A new graduate scheme is available. The role offers a 40 hour working week with a shared weekend and ooh rota. There will never be any sole charge.

This role offers a newly graduated Vet to be part of a new graduate scheme and develop their skills in medicine and surgery within a supportive working environment.

Duties will include

Administering treatments

Perform diagostics

Perform minor surgical procedures

Prepare patients for surgery

Assist other Veterinary Surgeons

The Hospital has recently gone through a new development and has enhanced its facilities by adding new operating theatres and consulting rooms and waiting areas. They also have invested in new diagnostic equipment - imaging which joins the already existing facilities of digital x-ray, endoscopy, in house laboratory and ultrasound. They are growing their orthopaedic work due to demand and are focusing on offering their patients and clients an exceptional level of service.

They are looking for a passonate and dedicated Vet who will embrace all aspects of the programme. They will be a team player and have excellent communication skills.

• Salary: 28,000 to 30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
