Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Friern Barnet London for a Permanent full time Veterinary Surgeon to join them. The position offers a 35-hour working week with flexible hours and will also offer 5 days per week instead of 4 depending on the candidate. There is no OOH with this position offering an excellent work / life balance.

The practice is modern and established offering a range of veterinary services and facilities. It is located close to local amenities and transport links and offers free onsite parking.

The Vet will be joining the branch partner who has a strong interest in internal medicine. The team have a variety of interests, and these are supported and encouraged.

Who are they looking for:

The practice is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Vet who has excellent communication skills. They will have confident in routine surgeries and consultations and will also be comfortable with some sole charge work. They will enjoy establishing working relationships with clients and build their client base.

  • You will be passionate about all aspects of your Veterinary Work

  • You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
  • You will contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
  • You will be a strong team player
