Job description

The partner of this Farnborough practice, is looking for an enthusiastic, professional individual to join his happy 3 vet team on a full time basis.

Best known for its international airshow, the town of Farnborough boasts easy access to London and Basingstoke via the M3 motorway and is only a 40 minute train ride from London's Waterloo station.

Key Details:

  • Full or part-time contract considered
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-19:00pm
  • Weekends: 1:3 weekends
  • Sole Charge: Yes
  • OOH: No
  • Branch Work: No
  • Computer System: RX Works

About the Practice:

As a purpose built small animal practice, the surgery is equipped with modern surgical and diagnostic equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, Idexx catalyst analyser, diathermy, lactate analyser and Cardiopet ECG among other equipment.

The Person:

This exciting opportunity would suit someone looking to take the next step in their career as CPD is strongly encouraged, supported and fully funded.

The role is full time with weekends on a rota basis (1:3) which will be sole charge, and there is no OOH requirement.

The successful applicant will have great people skills, a good general surgical and medical background and will work well in a team. You must also have good communication skills and enjoy building relationships with clients, the patients and the practice team.

The Package:

  • Competitive salary between 35,000-45,000 DOE or pro-rata if part-time

Must have:

RCVS registered and qualified
