Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Epsom Surrey for a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a full-time role with a weekend rota.

The Vet would be joining a supportive team of 5 other Vets. The practice offers a wide range of modern veterinary services to its clients including Ultrasound, laparoscopic neutering, cardiac scans and in house laboratory.

All staff and patients benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in their nearest state-of-the-art Animal practice.

The practice provides high standard of clinical care and prides themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres.

The practice is located close to local shops, cafes, and restaurants along with transport routes and links.

This is a busy established practice which sees a variety of cases and feeds into their local animal hospital. They are looking for a Vet with a minimum of 1 years' experience and someone who is also confident in sole charge work on occasions. The role will involves both consultations and some minor surgery. There also maybe times when the Vet is required to provide some cover at a branch surgery close by.

About you

You will be looking to progress and have ambition to develop your career

  • You will be confident in routine consultations and competent in routine surgeries
  • You will have a minimum of 1 years' experience
  • You will be confident in making clinical decisions
  • You will be happy to provide cover at the nearest branch surgery when required
  • An interest in pursuing a certificate would be supported and encouraged
  • You will be comfortable with some sole charge work when required
  • You will be ambitious, driven, and forward-thinking Veterinary Surgeon
  • You will set a positive working environment and lead by example

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 50,000 Commensurate to experience pro rata
