Professional veterinary recruitment

We are recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Doncaster.

This is a full-time position working in one of the three branch surgeries. It offers Monday - Friday with a 1:6 Saturday and Sunday rota with a full day off the following weekend following the long weekend, then there is a 2:6 Saturday morning rota which is for 2 hours only, and a half day off during the week following this.

There is no OOH.

About the role:

The practice is an established 2 branch practice with a brand-new state of the art practice opening in September. There may be some branch work required.

Ideally this role is for an experienced veterinary surgeon looking to take on a senior role and perhaps even progress to a clinical director position. They require a veterinary surgeon who is confident in routine surgeries and consultations and someone who has career aspirations to progress. Areas of special interest are supported.

• Team: Large Multi Vet and Nurse team along with support staff

Person:

• You will be an experienced veterinary surgeon and confident in routine surgeries and consutlations.
• You will be confident with sole charge work should this be required
• You will be ambitious and looking to take the next step in your career into a leadership / senior role
• Clinical Director aspirations would be advantageous
• You will be an enthusiastic and passionate veterinary surgeon
• You will be able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with both clients and fellow members of the team
• You will be passionate and enthusiastic and willing to mentor and support fellow colleagues and students and new graduates. If required
• You will be a forward-thinking veterinary surgeon
• You will be committed to delivering a high standard of clinical care
• A UK driving license

• Salary 45,000 - 55,000 pro rata
