Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Cramlington for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

You will be joining a talented, collaborative clinical team of 4 vets, 10 nurses, 2 students nurses and a supportive non-clinical team.

The duties will mainly consist of consulting but there will be 1 theatre day per week. You will need to be confident and competent working sole charge as this will be required on occasion. You will have the ability to create trusting and dependable relationships with your clients and will provide the gold standard of care to the practice's patients and clients. If you wish to develop your skills in a particular area, the practice offers a generous CPD allowance and support in order to make this happen and bring new areas to the practice.

This role is full time for 38 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 2 Saturdays from 9am to 6pm and 1 in 4 Sundays from 10am to 4pm. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
