Experienced and friendly Vet required for a modern, independent practice on the beautiful Norfolk coast!

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering fantastic work-life balance with a 4 day working week and 1 in 6 Saturday mornings and just 1 night per week on call.

The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience in practice, however, ambitious and dedicated recently graduated vets are welcome to apply!

Key Details:

  • Role: Veterinary Surgeon
  • Type: Small Animal
  • Hours: 4 day week working 10 hour shifts
  • Weekends: 1 in 6 Saturday mornings on call until Monday, 1 in 12 Saturday morning clinics
  • On Call: 1 night per week, 1 in 6 weekends with a full day off in lieu
  • Team: Large team of vets including 2 studying towards certificates
  • Other: Modern, purpose-built practice
About them:

Well equipped, purpose built surgery with Idexx blood machines, digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and more. They currently have a large team of over 10 clinical staff with a great deal of experience between them.

Person:

Ideally the joining vet will have a number of years' experience working in practice, and will work well within the team as well as having the ability to work autonomously. Consolations are 15 minutes, however delivering the highest level of care and service is paramount for this practice and so longer appointments are offered when needed. It is vital that the joining vet is prepared to go above and beyond for patients and their owners by delivering compassionate and professional care at all times.

Candidates should live within 30 minutes of King's Lynn in order to facilitate on call care.

Package:

  • Salary from 40,000 to 60,000 dependent on experience
  • CPD allowance
  • RCVS fees covered

Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • 3 years' post qualification experience
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Valid UK driving license
