We are recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Clowne Derbyshire. This is a full or part time position with flexible hours and a weekend rota and no ooh.

The practice is located on the outskirts of Chesterfield and with good transport links to Sheffield. It comprises of a friendly team of 1 Vet, 2 Nurses and reception team. They provide a wide variety of Veterinary Services and facilities and see a varied case load. They are fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

About the role

The practice requires a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join them and someone who has a friendly and approachable attitude. It is important that they are confident in routine surgeries and consultations and have excellent customer service and communication skills. They practice offers in return clinical freedom and the opportunity to develop their own client base and have continues personal growth and development.

• Type: Small Animal
• Hours: Monday - Friday
• Weekends: 1:3 weekend rota
• Sole Charge: None
• OOH: None
• Branch work: None
• Computer System: RX Works
• Consultations: 15 Minutes
• Team: 1 Vets, 2 Nurse & support team

About You:

• You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
• You will be comfortable with sole charge work on a weekend
• You will be confident in all routine surgeries and consultations
• You will have an approachable and caring attitude
• You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
• You will want to contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
• You will be a strong team player

Package:

• Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 pro rata
