We are recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Chippenham Wiltshire.

This role is part time with a 20-hour working week covering 2 days, Monday and one other flexible day. There is a 1:4 Saturday consulting with an on-call Vet who will deal with emergencies and there is a 1:6 late night 9am - 7pm. There is no OOH.

The role will be split between the main practice and the branch practice with some sole charge work involved at the branch practice. Therefore, they are looking for an experience surgeon who is capable of sole charge.

The practice has a large team of 10 Vets, 10 RVNS and 4 SVNS along with supporting staff. It provides a wide variety of facilities such as an in-house laboratory, blood machines, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and ultrasound. This is an established practice and comprises of two practices both close to transport links. It boasts an excellent local reputation and has a large loyal client base.

Areas of special interest are supported, and certificate encouraged.

About you:

• You will be competent in routine surgeries and consultations
• You will be happy with some sole charge work within the branch practice when required
• You will have 3 years or more experience
• You will always deliver a high standard of clinical care
• You will have excellent customer facing skills
• You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians
• You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest for animal welfare

• Salary range 32,000 - 45,000, depending on experience
