Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Chesterfield for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and talented team.

You will be joining a talented, collaborative clinical team of 4 vets, 4 nurses and 2 student nurses. They will give you the clinical freedom you deserve, along with any level of support you require. As around 10% of the practice's patients are exotic pets, an interest in this area is advantageous but not required. Aside from exotics, the practice sees an even split of dogs and cats.

You will have the experience and competence necessary to improve the practice and raise the already high standards of care provided to the patients. You will have the ability to create trusting and dependable relationships with your clients and will provide the gold standard of care to the practice's patients and clients. If you wish to develop your skills in a particular area, the practice offers a generous CPD allowance and support in order to make this happen and bring new areas to the practice.

The role will involve working full time or part time for 30 to 40 hours per week. There will be no OOH work.
