Job description

We are recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Burgess Hill West Sussex. This is a full-time role working between 30 - 40 hours per week. There is a weekend on a rota basis and no ooh or sole charge offering a great work / life balance.

The Vet will be joining a team of 6 Vets, 8 Nurses and support staff. There is a wealth of experience within the team and some of the Vets are certificate holders in Medicine, Feline medicine, and ultrasonography. They also have various areas of special interest including orthopaedic, neurology and exotics. The practice is modern and fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasonography, in house laboratory and isolation wards.

The practice is looking for an enthusiastic pro-active Vet who is comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations. They will enjoy and embrace all aspects of the role and be able to work well with others as part of a supportive team. They will have excellent customer service and communication skills and enjoy establishing and building solid working relationships with clients and fellow members of the team.

  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 50,000 Commensurate to experience
