We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal hospital in Buckhurst Hill Essex.

These are two full time roles working 41.5 hours per week over 4 days 8.30am - 7.30pm. There is 1:6 weekend rota which comprised of Friday - Sunday on call for in patients with some OOH service on Friday up until 8pm, Saturday up until 6pm and then Sunday up until 1pm. The Vet will receive the following Friday off after working the weekend - so one long weekend off. There is a 1:6 Saturday morning rota 9am - 1pm.

This is an established busy small animal hospital, and they can provide accommodation above the Hospital should a Vet be relocating. They are part of a three-site practice, and they are close to local amenities and transport links.

Both positions will involve being key members of the team and will provide clinical services to clients and their pets which will include preventative care, diagnostic care as well as therapeutic care. It is important that the Vet embraces all aspects of the role. Ideally three years' experience is required but they must be passionate, dedicate and ambitious to progress. Excellent client care and communication skills are essential and to be able to work well as part of a team.

• Hours Mon-Fri: Full time 4-day week 41.5 hours/week, 8.30 - 7.30pm

• Team: 2 vets, 2 RVNs one ANA, 2 receptionists
• Accommodation available above the hospital whilst relocating if required

The Practice:

This practice was one of the first to establish veterinary hospital status and has been providing veterinary care for 50 years. They have a bright and modern practice which is fully equipped with all the diagnostic toys and offer a wide range of modern veterinary services.

About You:

You will be a qualified veterinary surgeon with a desire to work with a forward-thinking veterinary practice. You must have a real passion for the industry and strive to provide the highest standards of care. Excellent customer service skills are also essential.

• Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 depending on experience
