We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon / branch partner to join a practice in Sutton London. This is a full-time role working 4 days per week with a 1:3 half and 1:6 full weekend rota.

This is a busy 24 hr animal hospital which provides a wide range of veterinary services to patients and supported branches in the surrounding area.

The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres.

All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such ultrasound, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries, emergency services facilities and hospitalisation facilities. There is also access to MRI and CT scanners along with radioactive iodine treatment.

This hospital sees a wide variety of cases including 1st opinion, orthopaedic and soft tissue cases and a wide variety of hospitalisation cases from branches in the surrounding area.

They are looking to recruit a Vet who is a passionate surgeon with a keen interest in medicine and ideally will be a certificate holding surgeon. The role will be based within the small animal hospital.

About you

• You will be ambitious and driven and looking to develop and grow your own practice
• You will be comfortable in routine surgeries and consultations
• You will have a minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience
• Previous leadership experience would be advantageous
• You will hold a certificate in medicine or another specialism
• You will be passionate, motivated, and driven and want to move the practice forward
• You will be ambitious and forward-thinking Veterinary Surgeon
• You will be comfortable with some sole charge work when required
• You will enjoy mentoring and coaching others and sharing knowledge and experience
• You will have a calming approach when dealing with a busy practice environment
• You will be passionate and dedicated to providing excellent clinical care
• You will have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• You will have career aspirations to continually develop your clinical skill set and knowledge

Package:

• Salary: Up to 70,000 pro rata
