Job description

We are recruiting for a permanent veterinary surgeon to join an independent practice in the beautiful location of Bournemouth Dorset.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with a weekend rota and no ooh. The role involves working across two branches.

The practice is located close to both the stunning Dorset coastline and the New Forest National Park making it ideal for those who enjoy the best of both countryside and coastline living. This is an established independent practice with a growing client base and is proud to be an independent family run group of practices in the surrounding area.

The full-time position comes with no ooh offering an excellent work / life balance. They pride themselves on creating a role that is right for you and build on mutual respect between all parties and they are happy to say that this creates loyalty from staff with very little staff turnover.

The surgery is modern, spacious, and bright offering state of the art veterinary services and facilities with all the latest technology. The role is split between two of the branches.

They require an experienced enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join their team. The surgeon must be confident in routine surgeries and consultations. Areas of special interest are encouraged and supported.

Person:

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience
  • You will be an enthusiastic and passionate veterinary surgeon looking to develop their medical and surgical skills
  • You will be able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with both clients and fellow members of the team
  • You will be committed to delivering a high standard of clinical care
  • You will be ambitious and looking to take on a role where you can develop your clinical skill set and knowledge.

Package:

  • Salary 40,000 - 60,000 pro rata
