We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Birkenhead on the Wirral. This is a full-time position working 39 hours per week with a 1:3 Saturday morning 9am - 1pm.

The practice is established with a large loyal client base and are continuing to grow and are now in need of an additional vet to join their team. The Clinical Director holds two certificates - one in Radiology and the other in Endosurgery along with a vast amount of laparoscopic Surgery experience. The Vet would be working alongside the Clinical Director and with a supporting nursing team.

The practice provides high standard of clinical care and prides themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in this state-of-the-art Animal Hospital.

They are looking for a Vet who is a team player. They will be supported and encouraged to obtain more experience and develop their orthopaedic and laparoscopic procedures. There is some sole charge work involved which is consultations only in the local branch.,

The Vet will have a good level of experience working in a small animal practice and they will be comfortable with routine consultations and examinations and surgeries. They will also be comfortable with sole charge consulting work.

The Vet will have excellent client facing and communication skills and have a caring and empathetic attitude. They will enjoy building client relationships and work well as part of a team.

Package:

• Salary: Up to 55,000 Commensurate to experience pro rata
