We are recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Beverley East Yorkshire

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week with 1:2 Saturday rota (4 hours only) and no Sundays. There is no OOH. This is a modern purpose-built practice with state-of-the-art equipment. It has a team of 1 Vet, 2 RVN, 2 SVN and supporting staff.

The practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum 1 years' experience. They must be comfortable with sole charge work and basic surgeries and consultations. The practice offers plenty of support and the Surgeon will be part of a close-knit team. It offers a great work / life balance and the opportunity to establish excellent working relationships with the clients and build their own client base.

• Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
• Weekends: 1:2 Weekends - Saturdays only for 4 hours

• Consultations: 10 Minutes
• Team: 1 Vet, 2 RVN 2 SVN and support team

• You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
• You will be confident basic surgeries and consultations
• You will be comfortable with sole charge work
• You will be ambitious and keen to build up your own client base
• You will have an approachable and caring attitude
• You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
• You will want to contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
• You will be a strong team player

Package:

• Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 pro rata
