Job description

We are recruiting a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Berwick Upon Tweed Northumberland. The position is full time position with an OOH rota shared across the tram.

This is a busy, friendly practice which has a supportive small animal team within their fully equipped, spacious, and modern practice. It is located close to the town of Berwick - Upon Tweed with the beautiful coastline on your doorstep.

The practice offers a wide range of veterinary services and facilities. They comprise of a team of 9 Vets in total each with various levels of experience and expertise in emergency medicine, internal medicine, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and exotics. They encourage and support areas of specialism so id the Vet has a bias or would like to study towards post graduate qualifications this is supported. The Vet are all supported by a large team of RVNS and SVNS.

The offer a generous ooh rota allowing for a goo work / life balance. The role would suit either a confident experienced Vet or a recently graduated Vet due to the level of support available. There is opportunity for career progression within a large and growing practice.

Key Details:

  • Type: Small Animal
  • Hours: Monday - Friday full time
  • Weekends: Yes on a shared rota across 9 vets
  • OOH: Yes on a shared rota
  • Sole Charge: No
  • Team: 9 Vets with a large team of RVNS, SVNS and supportive staff
  • Consultations: 15 Minutes

Package:

  • Salary - 35,000 - 50,000 Commensurate to experience
