Job description

We are recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Basildon Essex.

This is a full-time role with a weekend rota. This is an established busy 24 hr Hospital which comprises of a large team of 10 other Vets. They have a large and varied case load including both routine and non-routine surgeries from cruciate, fracture repairs, TECABO, BOAS, caesareans and many more interesting cases.

The role offers a flexible rota enabling a good work / life balance. There is plenty of opportunity to develop clinical skills set and knowledge due to the level of cases that they see. The role would be ideal for a Vet who has a medical bias.

The practice is looking for a proactive Vet and ideally someone with a medical bias. Areas of special interest are supported and an interest in exotics would be advantageous. The Vet will have excellent communication and client care skills and enjoy and embrace all aspects of the role.

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 35,000 - 45,000 Commensurate to experience
