We are now recruiting for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a independent practice in Addlestone Surrey.

This is a fabulous opportunity to work within a supportive environment, be exposed to new and exciting cases, develop, and learn skill in endosurgery but still have a fantastic work / life balance! This role is Monday - Friday with no weekends and no OOH!

This is a progressive modern thinking practice who understand the importance of listening to their team. They have a supportive management team in place who always provide an approachable, friendly, and caring environment for all their team. There is an open-door management policy in place and all voices are heard.

This role would be ideal for a Vet who is passionate and enthusiastic and looking for a position where they can progress within their career - through CPD and certificate study and work within a busy practice but still have that all important work / life balance. The role offers case continuity and clinical freedom. The Vet will be working alongside highly experienced Vets and nursing team.

About them:

The practice has a modern, purpose-built theatre fitted with state-of-the-art equipment. They carry out a wide range of procedures, from C-sections and wound repairs to intestinal surgeries and lump removals. The practice can also offer keyhole surgery at their sister site. The clinic has taken a huge step forward during the pandemic to install a consultation pod, allowing face-to-face consultations to continue in a COVID secure environment. With the latest imaging technology and an in-house lab, they are able to diagnose pets efficiently on site.

Nurse clinics are run daily, including puppy and kitten classes, diabetes and weight clinics, as well as consults covering heart and kidney disease, and arthritis.

Package:

  • Salary: 35,000 - 55,000 commensurate to experience
  • CPD Generous allowance per annum, 5 days
