Professional veterinary recruitment

Our small animal clients in Worcester are currently recruiting for a registered veterinary nurse to join them on a full OR part time permanent basis. The role involves working across a variety of shifts between 8:30am and 7:00pm each day, as well as being involved on a regular 1 in 3 or 4 weekend rota. The practice operates across a couple of sites but this role will be based at the main practice in Worcester.

Key Job Details:

Type: Small animal only

Hours Mon-Fri: 40 hours per week between 8:30am and 7:00pm each day (part time hours will be considered)

Weekends: 1 in 3 or 4 weekends on a rota basis

OOH: None required - Vets Now cover

Branch work: Very minimal could be required on a rota

Team: 10 Vets, 15+ RVN's and other support staff/management

This busy, small animal independent veterinary practice have a great reputation within the local area and boast a loyal client base. They have a great team with a mixture of experienced certificate holders to those just starting out on their veterinary careers. The practice actively supports career development and will happily fund and support CPD requirements that benefit both parties.

About the role

The nurse must have good customer service and communication skills. must be confident and outgoing and be able to think on their feet. The position involves all round general nursing from assisting the veterinary surgeon in theatre, to administering medications, recording results, and greeting clients so a good solid background in these areas would be ideal. Areas of special interest are supported and CPD is offered along with time off to attend as part of the package.

The Package:

Salary between 20,000 and 25,000 depending on skills & experience
