Job description

Excellent opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated veterinary nurse to join an established small animal referral practice in St Helens on a full-time basis. The successful RVN will join the First Opinion team and will work shifts between 7am - 3pm or 10.30am - 6.30pm with a week of 2pm - 10pm every 10 weeks

This is an established referral practice specialising in Orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, exotic medicine, and cardiology. They have state of the art facilities and equipment such as an onsite CT scanner and MRI facilities. They boast a large team of Veterinary Surgeons with a variety of special interests, diplomas, and certificate holders.

The practice is located within in ideal commute from Manchester and Liverpool with excellent connections to major transport links. Located perfect for both city and country life

Key Details:

  • Type: Small Animal
  • Hours: Full-time, shifts 7am - 3pm or 10.30am - 6.30pm with a week of 2pm - 10pm every 10 weeks
  • Weekends: 1 in 8 full weekends
  • OOH: None required
  • Sole Charge: None required
  • Team: 8 RVNs on the theatre team, around 50 staff in total
