We have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join an established small animal referral practice in St Helens on a permanent basis. This role is full time with shifts from 7am to 3pm or 10:30am to 6:30pm, along with a week of 2pm to 10pm every 10 weeks. Weekends are 1 in 5 Saturdays or Sundays.

This is an established referral practice specialising in Orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, exotic medicine, and cardiology. They have state of the art facilities and equipment such as an onsite CT scanner and MRI facilities. They boast a large team of Veterinary Surgeons with a variety of special interests, diplomas, and certificate holders.

The practice is located within in ideal commute from Manchester and Liverpool with excellent connections to major transport links. Located perfect for both city and country life

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, shifts from 7am to 3pm or 10:30am to 6:30pm, with a week of 2pm to 10pm every 10 weeks
• Weekends: 1 in 5 Saturdays or Sundays
• OOH: None
• Sole charge: None
• Team: 8 RVNs on the theatre team, around 50 staff in total

Package:

• Salary: 21,000 to 24,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
