Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice of a state of the art Referral Practice in Sale Manchester for a Permanent full time Veterinay Nurse.

This is a full-time position which involves working various shift patterns which are a combination of late evenings and OOH.

The role

  • They have an exciting opportunity for 1 RVN to join our dedicated nursing team.
  • Successful applicants will support their specialists in orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, advanced CT, MRI imaging, physiotherapy and more.
  • Referral experience is not essential as full onsite training will be provided.
  • This is a full-time position which will involve shift patterns including late evenings and Out of Hours.
  • The Position involves a variety of duties including preparation for orthopaedic procedures, circulating nurse working in anaesthesia, induction and recovery areas and assisting with advanced imaging.

  • You must have a friendly and compassionate attitude and be approachable
  • Referral experience is not essential - training will be provided
  • You will be passionate and focused on developing and supporting team members
  • You will have a good amount of small animal nursing experience in all aspects of nursing
  • You will be ambitious to continue with further education and training
  • You will be forward thinking, motivated, passionate with a genuine interest in animal welfare
  • You must be motivated and passionate about your work and share this and promote this ethos with other members of staff
  • You will enjoy working as part of a team

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum commensurate to experience
