We are recruiting for two Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal hospital in Poole Dorset.This is a full time position working 40 hour week with a 1:6 Saturday rota.

This is an established first opinion 24hr animal hospital boasting state of the art facilities. The offer an excellent medical and surgical caseload ensuring that all nurses can utilise their clinical skills to their fullest. The role also offers the opportunity to develop and run nurse clinics.

The practice provides a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and state of the art operating theatres.

Duties:

The role involves all aspects of nursing and includes working closely with the veterinary surgeons in the practice as well as performing nursing duties. The RVN will be involved in administering treatments and medications, performing diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries, running nurse clinics and providing advice to clients. There is also the opportunity to work as a clinical coach so the RVN can use their knowledge and experience to help train and support SVNs in the future.

• You will have a high level of solid nursing experience in all aspects of nursing

Package:

• Salary: 22,000 - 26,000 commensurate to experience
