Professional veterinary recruitment

We are recruiting a permanent veterinary nurse for an independent, small animal feline specialist practice in Oxfordshire. Our client is a busy, 2 site first opinion and referral practice, offering a unique opportunity for a veterinary nurse to fulfil their feline passion, to nurse complex and challenging cases to a high standard of care.

This role is Monday to Friday, working up to 40 hours a week. There is a 1 in 6 weekend rota, where a day off is given following working a weekend. This role is purely impatient care only, there is no ooh involved.

A busy first opinion and referral, 2 site practice. Our client is a forward thinking, pro-active team that provides a high standard of care and expertise to all patients. They are the only cat clinic in the UK to have an onsite Specialist and thus offer a number of unique services.

The Person:

They are looking for a hard working veterinary nurse who ideally has experience in a similar role. You will need to be confident, enthusiastic, forward thinking and highly motivated to fit in with this practice. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly nature are also of high importance.

• A desire to support your colleagues and to contribute to the growth of this unique veterinary clinic

The Package:

• 20,000 - 28,000 per annum DOE
• CPD funded and certificates encouraged
• 28 days Holiday
• 500 CPD budget plus 2 paid CPD days per year

Must have:

• RCVS registered and qualified
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• 1 years registered veterinary nurse experience (UK)
