We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice close to the city centre of Lincoln. The position is full time working a 40-hour week with a 1:4 weekend rota.

This is an established busy practice which offers a good amount of both medical and surgical cases. The role offers the opportunity to utilise all aspects of their nursing skills including coaching duties and nurse clinics, mentoring others and all other general nursing duties.

Duties:

The role involves all aspects of nursing and includes sharing best practice and supporting and developing the rest of the nursing team. The nurse will be responsible for supporting the PCA's and CCA'S within the team. They will be part of the nurse clinics that run daily. The RVN will be involved in administering treatments and medications, performing diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries and providing advice to clients. They will also have clinical coaching opportunities to support SVNs within the region.

Package:

• Salary: 22,000 - 26,000 per annum depending on experience
