We are working with an independent veterinary practice in Leigh, who are looking to take on not one, but two veterinary nurses on a permanent, full-time basis at their branch practice. This is an exciting time to join an expanding independent practice where you will have a large say on how things are ran.

The branch practice is a stand alone practice, which has both dental and x-ray facilities along with surgical facilities. It is a short distance from their main site and is a 2 vet practice. They do not undertake any procedures at the branch practice, which are likely to require hospitalisation as they have 24 hour hospitalisation facilities close by. A nurse at this site would need to run nurse clinics, help with surgical cases and any day patients, communicate with their main pharmacy nurse regarding stock levels of drugs and consumables. There is a senior nurse role and a role available for newly qualifiedRVNs. They anticipatethe senior nurse to have a very responsible role within the practice as a whole and there would be opportunity for them to work overtime at their main practice if they wish.

The Person:

They are looking for a compassionate, hard working and reliable veterinary nurse whose passion for the industry is clear with everything they do. It is important that you are fully qualified and registered with the RCVS. Customer service skills are also of high importance, as they require all nurses to assist the reception team when required.

Must have:

• RCVS registered and qualified
