Professional veterinary recruitment

We are working with an independent, small veterinary practice in Leek, who are looking to take on not one, but two veterinary nurses on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting time to join an expanding, independent practice where you will have a large say on how things are ran.

The hours will be Monday to Friday 8:45am-6:00pm (1 hours lunch), with an occasional 8am-5pm shift. There will be1 weeknight on call per week, with1 in 5/6 weekends - Saturday morning in practice and inpatient checks in evenings.Time of in lieu when working on call, usually a full day off.

There is a senior nurse role and a role available for newly qualified RVNs. They anticipate the senior nurse to have a very responsible role within the practice as a whole and there would be opportunity for them to work overtime at their main practice if they wish.

The Person:

They are looking for a compassionate, hard working and reliable veterinary nurse, with a passion for the industry is clear with everything they do. It is important that you are fully qualified and registered with the RCVS. Customer service skills are also of high importance, as they require all nurses to assist the reception team when required.

The Package:

• Salary: 19,000 - 24,000 dependent of experience

Must haves:

RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.
