We are recruiting for a permanent full or part time registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice in the market town of Knaresborough North Yorkshire.

Located close to the Dales, Leeds and York within a good commute this is an ideal location for those who enjoy both country life and city living. The practice is located close to local transport links and motorways and offers onsite parking.

This is a full-time position working 5 days per week covering 40 hours and some weekend Saturday morning work on a rota basis. There is no OOH.

The role involves all aspects of general nursing ranging from:

• Assisting the Veterinary surgeons in theatre
• Administering medications
• Keeping accurate records
• Looking after inpatients

The require an enthusiastic friendly and motivated RVN who works well as part of a team and has a passion for animal welfare.

Key Details:

• Type: Small Animal
• Hours: Monday - Friday 40 Hours per week between the hours of 8:30am and 7:00pm Part time hours available
• Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota
• OOH: None required
• Sole Charge: Lone working as an RVN will be required
• Consultations: 10 Minutes
• Team: 2 Vet, 1 RVN, 1 VCA and reception
