We are working with an independent veterinary practice in North Norfolk who are currently recruiting for a small animal RVN to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This role involves working 39 hours a week over a mixture of shifts, between the hours of 8:30am and 7:00pm each day. They also require the nurses to be involved on the out of hours rota, which is usually around 1 in 6/7. This provided believe that all staff are equal and treat everybody the same - they kindly ask that nurses help out the reception team as and when needed.

Due to the experience in the team this role is open to all qualified veterinary nurses, with all experience levels.

Key Details:

Type: Small animal and some exotics

Hours Mon-Fri: 39 hours per week, shifts will be 8:30am-5:30pm, 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm

Weekends: 1 in 6/7 on rota, Saturday 8:30am until 2:00pm and then on call

OOH: 1 in 6/7 rota, includes weeknights and weekends. Time of in lieu provided when working a weekend.

Team: 4 Vets, 8 Nurses and support staff

Branch work: None required, sole site.

The Person:

They are looking for a compassionate, hard working and reliable veterinary nurse whose passion for the industry is clear with everything they do. It is important that you are fully qualified and registered with the RCVS. Customer service skills are also of high importance, as they require all nurses to assist the reception team when required.
