Professional veterinary recruitment

We are working with an independent practice in Grays, Essex who are currently recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week across 8 hour shifts from 8am to 4pm, 10am to 6pm and 11:30am to 7:30pm, along with 1in 5 Saturdays. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, working a variety of 8-hour shifts
• Weekends: 1 in 5 Saturdays, 8:30am to 4:30pm
• TOIL: Mondays off after working a weekend
• OOH: None required
• Team: 5 vets (3 FT and 2 PT) , 3 RVNs and 2 SVNs as well as other support staff

About them:

An independent, RCVS accredited small animal practice with a wide and varied case load. The practice actively encourages RVNs to get involved with surgical work as well as all other routine procedures, they may also require some reception cover.

The practice is well equipped with a range of facilities throughout, these included: A dedicate operating theatre, in house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound machine, oxygen kennel, BPM and much more. The practice operates from 1 site only and does not have any satellite branches.

About you:

This role would suit a qualified veterinary nurse who has a strong work ethic and enjoys being part of a friendly team. There is plenty to do each do and they like pro active staff members who can be trusted to crack on without regular monitoring. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard working and eager to professionally develop.

Package:

• Salary: 21,000 to 25,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
