We are working with a small animal veterinary hospital in Nottingham who are currently recruiting for a full-time veterinary nurse to join them on a permanent basis. This role would involve working 40 hours a week over a variety of shift patterns, including 8am-4pm 10am-6pm & 12pm-8pm.
Type: Small animal only
Hours Mon-Fri: 40 hours per week, shifts inclide8am-4pm, 8:30am-4:30pm,10am-6pm, 11am-7pm and 12pm-8pm
Weekends: 1 in 5 weekends on a rota, both days 8:00am until 6:00pm
Sole charge: Not required
OOH: Non required
Team: 10 Vets, 11 Nurses and further support staff
Branch work: Occasional shift may be required at a local branch
Main duties: General nursing duties, theatre nurse, in patient care, laboratory work and nurse consultations (post COVID)
A well-established veterinary hospital practice in Nottingham with a great reputation within the area. They are well equipped to deal with all primary pet health but can also handle for complicated surgical and medical cases if they arise. The main practice has tier 3 RCVS standard and are an inspected veterinary hospital which guarantee a high standard of care.
You will be a qualified veterinary nurse with experience working within the UK
You will have excellent all-round nursing skills
You will be self-motivated with a genuine passion for animal welfare
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to develop working relationships with clients and team members
Salary from 20,000 - 25,000 dependent on experience
