Job description

We are recruiting a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice in Epsom Surrey.

This is a full or part time position working 4 days per week as a maximum. There is a weekend rota of 1:3 which would be shared whether the RVN is full or part time. There is no ooh work.

The RVN would be joining a team of 2 Vets, 3 RVNS, 1 SVN, 1 VCA along with supporting nonclinical staff. It is a friendly and supportive team, and they all pride themselves on excellent clinical care and customer service.

It is a purpose built modern and spacious practice offering on sire parking and within walking distance of the town centre and the train station. They have wide range of equipment from Digital X-Ray through to orthopaedic kits. The head Vet has a wealth of both Veterinary and management experience and understands the contribution that all nurses make to the practice and is looking for a passionate, friendly, and approachable nurse to join the team.

About the role

The practice requires the RVN to have good general nursing skills along with excellent customer service and communication skills. Ideally the RVN will be very experienced however due to the experience available within the current team they can support a nurse who perhaps is more recently qualified. Areas of special interest are supported and an interest in nurse clinics would be advantageous.
