Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join a practice in Enfield, London.

The role is full time for 42 hours per week over 5 days, along with 1 in 6 Saturdays with time off in lieu and Sundays paid additionally. There will be one bank holiday worked per year but this will be given back in lieu and paid. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

This is an established, large, and busy forward-thinking practice. They are full equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and offer their own 24-hour overnight service.

The practice ensure that all the nurses get to nurse, and areas of special interest are supported.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Providing a high standard of care to both patients and clients
  • Adhere to practice protocols and standards
  • Work closely with fellow colleagues providing support where required
  • Document all records correctly and communicate to clients
  • Establish and develop good working relationships with both clients and fellow team member.
  • Enjoy running nurse clinics and appointments
  • Clinical coaching duties - or study to become clinical coach

About you:

  • You will have a minimum of 1 years of experience
  • You will be an experienced nurse competent in all areas of general nursing
  • You will be motivated with a genuine passion for animal welfare
  • You will consistently deliver a high standard of clinical care
  • You will have excellent communication and customer interfacing skills
  • You will enjoy clinical coaching or looking to become a clinical coach
  • You will enjoy running nurse clinics

Package:

  • Salary 24,000 to 30,000 pro rata commensurate to experience
