We are working with a busy small animal veterinary practice in East Edinburgh who are currently recruiting for qualified veterinary nurse to join their team as RVN's. They are really keen to find the right people who fit their cultures and therefor are open to applications from all level's of qualified/soon to be qualified veterinary nurses.

Full time nurses work on average 40 hours per week, with time off in lieu provided when working more. They require all nurses to be involved on the 1 in 3 weekend rota and there is no requirement to work out of hours/evenings.

Key Details:

Type: Small animal only

Hours: 40 hours per week, working shifts between 9:00am and 6:30pm

Weekends: 1 in 3 weekends, Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm

Branch work: None required, 1 practice online

OOH: None required - all outsourced

This practice has a wide range of facilities including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, new ultrasound, lab equipment, ECG, endoscopes and many more.

You will need to be confident, passionate, and proactive in your daily work. Although skills set is important, they are focused on finding the right type of people who fit in with the practice and the style of working. You will need to be responsible for yourself and your own actions and have a clear drive and desire to improve where possible.

The Package:

Salary from 21,000-25,000 per annum
