Job description

We are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice in Byfleet Surrey. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with a 1:3 weekend rota. There is no ooh requirements.

This is a purpose-built practice offering a range of modern veterinary services and facilities including Digital X-Ray, ECG, Doppler, in house laboratory, ultrasound and laser equipment. The Nurse will be joining a team of 2 Vets, 3 RVNS, 1 VCA and reception team. The Nurse will be supported, and areas of special interest are encouraged. Two of the nurses are currently completing certificates so this would be supported and encouraged.

Duties and responsibilities include

Assisting Vets in Theatre

Administering Medications

Adhering to practice protocols

Preparing and recording of results

Managing bookings

Working closely the members of the team to ensure smooth running of the practice and to optimise the client experience

They are looking for a Nurse who is qualified or recently qualified and has good nursing skills. They will embrace all aspects of the role and have a flexible and can-do attitude. They will be passionate and dedicated and be a team player.

  • Consultations: 15 - 30 minutes
