Job description

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Nurse to join a small practice in Boston Lincolnshire. The position is a full time role working a 40 hour week. The shifts are either 8am-4.30pm,8.30am-5pm,9am-5.30pm or11am-7.30pm.The practice is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to work alongside their team of 2 Vets, HVN, RVNS, PCA and SVN.

The role is most suitable for an RVN as previous experience gained in a small animal clinic is essential as you will be using your experience to teach and support others. You must also have previous experience of dealing with patients with complex needs. You must be capable of performing general nursing duties and be keen to develop your skills. You must also be open to helping your colleagues develop their knowledge in order to deliver the gold standard of care to the practice's loyal client base. You will also help in the development of nursing clinics. You will be joining a large and supportive team of skilled vets and nurses.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice in Boston, Lincolnshire. This role will cover all nursing responsibilities and provide clinical coaching to their student nurses.

Who are they looking for

The practice are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic nurse and someone who is ambitious and looking to progress and expand their knowledge and skills the practice support further development which include certificates. They Nurse will have excellent communication skills along with a friendly and positive attitude.

Duties:

The role involves all aspects of nursing and includes sharing best practice and supporting and developing the rest of the nursing team. The nurse will be responsible for supporting the PCA's and CCA'S within the team. They will be part of the nurse clinics that run daily. The RVN will be involved in administering treatments and medications, performing diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries and providing advice to clients. They will also have clinical coaching opportunities to support SVNs within the region.

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 30,000 PA commensurate to experience
