We are working with an independent small animal practice in Boston, Lincolnshire who are currently recruiting for Permanent Veterinary Nurse. They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience.

This role is full time for 40 hours per week, as well as 1 in 8 weekends and 1 night per week on-call. The Vet holds the OOH phone and then the nurse would be called in if needed. Therefore it is important that the applicant lives within 30 minutes drive from the practice.

Key Details:

• Type: Small animal only
• Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts a mixture of 7am to 3pm and 11am to 7pm
• Weekends: 1 in 8 weekends, Saturday mornings in practice and then on call
• Branch work: None required, 1 practice only
• OOH: 1 in 8 weekends and 1 night per week on call

About the practice:

A reputable, well established, independent veterinary practice in Boston, Lincolnshire. The practice offers all small animal services and a well equipped with a full in house laboratory, digital x-ray facilities, ECG, Ultrasound and also offer pet orthopaedic referrals

The Person:

You will need to be confident, passionate, and proactive in your daily work. Although skills set is important, they are focused on finding the right type of people who fit in with the practice and the style of working. You will need to be responsible for yourself and your own actions and have a clear drive and desire to improve where possible.

The Package:

• Salary: 21,000 to 24,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Must haves:

• RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be
