Job description

We are working with a first opinion, independent small animal veterinary practice in Borehamwood who are currently recruiting for a veterinary nurse to join them on a permanent basis. This role would involve working 40 hours per week if full time and they can be flexible for part time hours as well.

The practice outsources all out of hour emergency and only requires staff to be involved on the 1 in 4 weekend rota.

Key Details:

Type: Small animal only

Hours Mon-Fri: 40 hours per week between 8:30am and 7:00pm each day (part time hours available)

Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am until 12:30pm

OOH: No on call required

Team: 3 Vets and 2 Nurses as well as support staff

Branch work: Unlikely to be any required.

An independent, well established first opinion small animal practice in Borehamwood, South Hertfordshire who have been providing an excellent all round service to clients for the past 25+ years. The RCVS accredited site is modern throughout and has an excellent range of equipment, these include: Dedicate surgical theatre, Laser therapy, acupuncture, digital x-ray, dental x-ray(portable), endoscopy, ultrasound machines (portable) and much more.

The Person:

They are looking for a compassionate, hard working and reliable veterinary nurse whose passion for the industry is clear with everything they do. It is important that you are fully qualified and registered with the RCVS. Customer service skills are also of high importance, as they pride themselves on the full level of care provided.

The Package:

20,000-25,000 per annum depending on experience (PRO RATA IF PART TIME)

RCVS registered and qualified
