Professional veterinary recruitment

We are recruiting for a Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice in Leicester. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with a 1:4 weekend rota.

This is a practice that offers 24-hour service 365 days per year. It is fully equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology including an inhouse laboratory, ECG, ultrasound, and digital x-ray.

The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members as they are a dedicated training centre. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in their nearest state of the art Animal Hospital.

They are looking for a confident RVN to join their team. The role involves all aspects of general nursing.

The RVN must have excellent communication skills along with a empathetic attitude. They must be committed to patient welfare and be able to work well under pressure. The RVN will have previous small animal experience and understand the duties that may or may not be taken by PCAs or SVNs. They must work well as part of a team and demonstrate leadership skills as there is plenty of scope for career progression.
