Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice in Leeds West Yorkshire.

This is a busy 24 hr animal hospital, and they are looking for confident and enthusiastic veterinary nurses to join their team on either a full or part time basis.

This is a purpose build large 24hr practice with state-of-the-art facilities. They provide OOH cover and additional support to 15 practices across the West Yorkshire region so referral work, ECC work and in patient care is part of the role.

About the role

They are looking for a nurse who has excellent technical skills and has previous experience of working within a busy practice environment. All the nurses are trained in every element of the role so they would be responsible for a wide variety of duties from assisting in theatre, administering medications to discharges.

The Nurse must be confident in placing catheters, administering, and monitoring anaesthesia. The role also involves nurse consultations so the nurse will be dealing regularly with clients and offering advice, so it is important that they have excellent communication skills and be able to build good working relationships.

The role provides a supportive and friendly environment, career progression, flexible hours of part or full time - or maybe just weekend hours.
