Job description

We are working with an independent veterinary practice in Northamptonshire who are currently recruiting for an additional small animal veterinary surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. You will join a team of 6 small animal vets, working 4 days a week and covering the out of hours rota over weekends and evenings.

Key Details:

Type: Small animal

Hours Mon-Fri: 4 and half day week, between 8:30am and 6:30pm each day

Weekends: Yes shared on a rota between the Vets. 1 long weekend off in 5

OOH: 1 in 6 out of hour rota, includes weekends and weeknights

Team: 12 Vets, 13 Nurses and large support team

You will have a good level of experience in Equine & Farm however support will be available for new graduates

You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians

Salary - 35,000-50,000 per annum

CPD Generous allowance 3 days to attend

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

RCVS registered and qualified
