Our clients in Launceston, Cornwall are recruiting a small animal veterinary surgeon to join their long-established independent practice on a full-time basis. This role is suitable for an outgoing, experienced vet who enjoys working with a large team and is competent with all routine and emergency procedures.
Type: Small Animal only
Hours/rota: A 4/4.5/5 day working work can be negotiated
Weekends: 1 in 5 weekends on call
OOH: 1 in 5 weeknights & weekends on call
Sole Charge: Unlikely to be any required
Team: 5 Vets & 12 Nurses
A long established, independent practice who see both small and farm animals across the practice. With 5 vets & 12 nurses at the moment the practice are expanding due to continued growth. They have all the usual equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab, ECG and endoscopes.
Ideally you will have 2+ years post graduate experience
Able to deliver a high standard of clinical care
You will be competent in all areas of routine surgery and medical cases
You will have excellent customer facing skills and be able to motivate other team members
You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians
You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest for animal welfare
Salary depending on experience, likely between 35,000 & 50,000 per annum
25 days annual leave per annum
