Professional veterinary recruitment

We are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice in London. This is a full-time role with a 1:4 weekend rota. There is no ooh.

The RVN would be joining a supportive team of 4.5 Vets, 3 RVNS, 2 SVNS, 2 VCAs and 5 CCAs.

The practice is in the heart of London so is surrounded by all that London has to offer.

It is a bright and spacious purpose-built surgery and is fully equipped with facilities and equipment such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house laboratory, blood pressure monitoring, full range of dental equipment, tonometry and cautery.

They are looking for a forward thinking and pro-active nurse who has good all round nursing skills. They will also enjoy consultations as they will be participating in nurse consults. It is important that they work well as part of a team but also have ambition to develop their own areas of special interest. There is an excellent CPD allowance and funding for additional qualifications available. They must have excellent client and communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities include

Assisting Vets in Theatre

Administering Medications

Adhering to practice protocols

Preparing and recording of results

Managing bookings

Working closely the members of the team to ensure smooth running of the practice and to optimise the client experience

• Consultations: 15 - 30 minutes

• Salary: 24,000 - 27,000 pro rata
