We are recruiting for a part time Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Newark Nottinghamshire. This role offers 20 - 30 hours per week with a weekend rota and no ooh.

This is purpose built bright and spacious practice offering various Veterinary services and is equipped with equipment including digital x-ray, an in-house laboratory. The Vet would be joining a team of 2 Vets, 3 RVNs and a non-clinical team.

The practice seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon who has good medical and surgical skills. They will work well as part of a team and support fellow members of staff and have great client skills. They will enjoy all aspects of the role and ensure they continually deliver excellent patient and client care. There is funding for a certificate if the Vet has an area of interest that they would like to pursue.

About You:

• You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
• You will contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.

Package

• Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 commensurate to experience per annum
