Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent part time Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Bury. This is a part time role with a 1:3 and 1:6 weekend rota.

The practice is a busy first opinion clinic which is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and able to carry out numerous medical and surgical procedure.

The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres.

All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in this state-of-the-art Animal Hospital.

The Vet would be joining a team of 4 other Vets on a part time basis. The role would be ideal for a Vet who has a minimum of 2 years' experience and someone who is looking for a supportive role to develop their clinical skills.

They must be competent in routine surgeries and consultations.

The Vet must have excellent communication skills, be a team player with a friendly and approachable manner. Part time hours are negotiable.

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience

  • Previous leadership experience is advantageous but not essential

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 35,000 - 45,000 Commensurate to experience
