Job description


We are recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Bishopston Bristol Essex. This is a part time role working between 12.5 - 18.5 hours per week.

It is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to reduce their hours whilst also keeping up to date with their clinical skills and knowledge. There is no ooh or on call with this position.

The practice is located close to the city centre and surrounded by local amenities and transport links. It is purpose built and offers state of the art facilities.

The Vet would be joining a team of 2 Vets, 3 Nurses and supporting staff.

The practice is looking for an enthusiastic pro-active Surgeon who has a good level of experience and confident in routine surgeries and consultations/. There is some sole charge work involved so it is important that the Vet is confident in this area also. They will enjoy working as part of a team and with a caried caseload and will embrace all aspects of the role. They need to have excellent customer service and communication skills and be able to build good working relationships with both clients and team members.

  • You will want to contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 35,000 - 45,000 Commensurate to experience
