Job description

A small animal hospital in Whittlesford are recruiting a permanent night veterinary surgeon. The role requires a driven veterinary surgeon who is motivated to improve both patient care and staff wellbeing and someone who will drive the business forward. The role is supported by the Head Vet and the clinical director and the operation support manager.

Working hours are 13 hours long from 7.15pm - 8.15am and run on a 4 weekly cycle.

  • Team: Multi Vet and Nurse Hospital team.
  • Consultations: 15 Minutes

Person:

  • You will always deliver a high standard of clinical care
  • You will have 3 years or more experience
  • You will be passionate and motivated to drive the practice forward
  • You will be a certificate holding veterinary surgeon or someone who would like to become a certificate holder
  • You will be happy with sole charge work as this maybe required when on call
  • You will be confident in all areas of routine surgery and medical cases
  • You will have excellent customer facing skills and be able to motivate other team members
  • You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians
  • You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest for animal welfare

Facilities:

The practice boasts a full range of diagnostic equipment's with ultrasound, blood machines, digital x ray, dental - everything that you would expect from a 1st opinion practice and a Tier 3 RCVS Hospital.

Package:

  • Salary - 45,000.00 - 60,000.00 pro rata
