Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal hospital in Shrewsbury Shropshire. This is a full-time role working 7 nights on and 7 nights off from 7pm - 9am.

The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres which this hospital is one. All staff benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres which are available within the hospital.

About the role

They are looking for an experienced Vet who has a passion for ECC work. previous experience would be advantageous. They Vet must have excellent customer service and communication skills.

This is a supported role where the Vet will be mentored and thus be able to develop their clinical skill set and knowledge.

About you

  • You will have a passion for ECC work
  • Previous experience in ECC would be advantageous
  • You will be ambitious and forward thinking and always looking at way that can develop the practice further
  • A surgical bias is advantageous
  • You will enjoy mentoring and coaching others
  • You will have a calming approach when dealing with a busy practice environment
  • You will be passionate and dedicated to providing excellent clinical care
